#OpenBSD 8.0 will be HUGE. I mean not in size but the amount of new features added since 7.9 to - current is incredible.

@rqm @mlarkin, dv@ (who is still not on Mastodon as far as I know), @sizeofvoid, and many many more, are wizards!
@joel β¦ and this is where my friend, after I showed him my Fedi timeline on my phone, decided to mess with me by declaring that all social networks where IT peeps lurk are "the same" π π #FailedSale

Going to have a look, I recently started using OpenBSD (7.9) on a tiny desktop as a main general purpose desktop. Learning about unveil etc. since I couldn't upload images from within Firefox XD
I noticed you're combining Apple hardware and OpenBSD. Any chance you're using OpenBSD on an MBA M1?
@rqm other than tremendous VMM improvements, the main thing I have noticed, unusually, is that /dev/zero is about twice as fast. I see this in virtualized space and on baremetal.
@mischa@exquisite.social @slowservers@bsd.cafe I am still waiting for @ori@hj.9fs.net to supply us with a crowdfunding link to give his GEFS development a boost :)
