@mischa@exquisite.social @slowservers@bsd.cafe I am still waiting for @ori@hj.9fs.net to supply us with a crowdfunding link to give his GEFS development a boost :)

Turns out my HeltecV3 isn't dead. Just when I bought a very expensive WisBlock unit... #meshtastic

Buckle up. One of the pending #curl CVEs that we publish next week is graded severity HIGH. Considered the worst flaw found in curl in several years.

Yes, found with AI.

Today β€” on the eighth centenary of his death β€” I wish to recall a laborer who worked with great fruitfulness in the Lord’s vineyard: Saint Francis of Assisi, whom Jesus Himself asked to repair His Church.

We got around 120 donations in September, it's a lot to sort through. Thanks everyone!

@rqm other than tremendous VMM improvements, the main thing I have noticed, unusually, is that /dev/zero is about twice as fast. I see this in virtualized space and on baremetal.

#OpenBSD 8.0 will be HUGE. I mean not in size but the amount of new features added since 7.9 to - current is incredible.

"Builds" and "works" are two very different things; and especially under #Plan9.

Built yggdrasil-go with the outstanding PR that adds #9front support. It builds, it connects to the #yggdrasil network -- but you can't do anything over it by default; cannot ping or connect to any peers. Not much use that way.

Does it pass all checks and tests on build? Yes.
Does the compiler complain? No.
Does it run? Yes.

Does it work? No.

@js@bsd.cafe @dotpk@bsd.network Would be nice to populate that list of supported phones. Wish I could help but I seem to have exactly what's in there :)
