#OpenBSD

@js Is this related to usb tethering?

It used to work really well via urndis for me, but recent android devices haven't attached. I think it's probably been 3 - 4 years since I could use it.

@dotpk Indeed it is. Android switched to cdc-ncm - network control mode since the Pixel 6. I'm still looking into the details but I want to get it working on #OpenBSD. #NetBSD has a driver since their newest 11 release, so thats probably a good think to relate to.

@js Nice If you need testers at some point then I'd be happy to give it a spin.

@dotpk This seems to work. Let me clean up a bit and tell me how to send you a diff. #OpenBSD

This is tested on my Pixel 9 Pro with GrapheneOS

@js@bsd.cafe @dotpk@bsd.network Amazing work, looking forward to this

@rqm @dotpk It's based on umb(4) and far from finished. Technically it works but the code is kind of messy and I'm (as always) afraid of sending it out.

@js@bsd.cafe @dotpk@bsd.network Anyone else out there who could help you with a review before you might submit it to tech@¿

@rqm @dotpk No idea, but I think I have it cleaned up for review now. All those pesky little things...

@rqm @dotpk

I guess if I burn my name (again) then I'll do it in the open.
